THE PROBLEM: A stroke left this gentleman wheelchair bound with only partial use his right side. He wanted to continue with his hobby of photography but experienced difficulty holding and activating the camera.
THE SOLUTION: This simple holder, made of lexan, slides on snugly to the wheelchair tray directly in front of him and holds the camera slightly below eye level. Holding the tensioned joint just below the camera he is able to direct the camera up and down. A 1/8" thick rubber washer in the joint creates the tension so the camera will stay in place wherever he puts it. Horizontal adjustment are made by turning the whole wheelchair with his foot. by design the camera is always level.
